My work
Founded Kopka Tech to help Estonian businesses with the digital side of their work — websites, custom software, and marketing. I keep hands-on end to end: marketing, client communications, project planning and writing code. I believe that small- to mid-sized companies also deserve high-end solutions, and with the rise of AI tooling, Kopka aims to make it accessible for them.
Where I started my professional engineering career in 2019. Glia builds AI-powered banking software used by 700+ financial institutions. I joined as a full-stack intern, grew into frontend and platform work, and now ship as a senior full-stack engineer.
Co-founded and built the software for Skipster in 2024 — a platform for food trucks and small restaurants. Digital order queues, kitchen management, SMS notifications, and sales reporting so teams can ditch paper tickets and serve faster.
More important than any of my other work is my family with two amazing daughters. I aim to be as present for them as possible and give them a childhood full of happy memories with the family. I guard my time for them, and try not let work take priority. Among other traits, becoming a parent has (at least) quadrupled my productiveness.
Skills
10+ years of studies & experience — senior full-stack developer with experience in infrastructure, databases, platform development & real-time communications. I've contributed to numerous high-impact projects at Glia, built the Skipster application and have led, planned and developed all Kopka Tech's projects — varying from unique websites to complex e-commerce systems & workflow software. I care about solutions that stay maintainable after launch, not just demos that ship once.

Good software is a team sport and great communication is key to victory. I've worked inside both small and large organizations and run client-facing studio work at Kopka — in all cases, the most frequent bottlenecks are not caused by code. It's alignment, honest tradeoffs, and keeping everyone oriented toward the same outcome.
At Kopka I own the full client arc — discovery calls, scoping, progress updates, and launch handoffs. I translate technical constraints into plain language and vice versa.
At Glia I partnered with product, design, and ops across many types of projects. I write plans that engineers can execute, PRs that reviewers can trust, and docs that don't rot in a wiki. In Slack, I make sure that my communication on project updates or day-to-day matters is clear and effective.
I prefer short feedback loops over long planning cycles. Async when it helps, sync when it matters — standups, pairing, and direct conversations when something or someone is stuck.
The best projects I've worked on had one thing in common: clear & continuous communication ensuring that everybody always knew 'where are we at', 'what are we doing' & 'where are we going'.
Leadership, for me, means owning the outcomes. I've grown from intern to senior engineer inside a large product company, co-founded a SaaS, and started a studio where I still keep hands on the production code.
